KNOW WHY DOORS OF PUBLIC TOILET ARE NOT TILL THE FLOOR !

When using a public restroom, you might have noticed that the doors don’t touch the floor. This seems odd, considering that most people want privacy when relieving themselves. Have you ever thought about the reason behind this? Let's explore why these doors do not touch the floor in this article.

1.) Easier to Clean: Public restrooms need frequent cleaning so by having a gap at the bottom, bathroom partitions are much easier to clean.

2.) Emergency Access: In a fully enclosed stall, if a person fainted or had a health problem that left them unconscious, it would take a long time before someone noticed it. This is not the case with restrooms with short doors.

3.) More Affordable: Partitions that don’t extend from the floor to the ceiling don’t have to be custom made to fit a room’s exact measurements and they don’t require as many materials to construct. This makes them considerably more affordable.

4.) Better Ventilation: Floor to ceiling stall door walls would likely require additional ventilation to be added to ease the flow of air through the stalls and throughout the lavatory. Short doors provide proper ventilation.

5.) Check the occupancy: Having a gap at the base of a partition allows people waiting in line to see if a stall is occupied or vacant.

So, now you know the reason behind the short doors of public restrooms. If you have any other reason, feel free to mention that in the comment box. Thank you for reading the article.

KNOW WHY WATER BOTTLES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN AEROPLANES !

There is a common rule that packed water bottles are not allowed during air travel. Though this might be something usual in day-to-day life, but have you ever thought about the reason behind this. Let's explore the reason for the same in this article.

It’s just a security measure and it is not specific to water in fact it’s for all liquid items. Many liquids may explode when subjected to heat, shock, or flame. Some of them are dangerously sensitive and dropping or bumping a container may cause it to explode. For example, Nitroglycerin is completely transparent and is very difficult to distinguish with water.
This policy is actually fairly reasonable, and the base reason is that they can't run an analytical chemistry laboratory at the checkpoints. It is just for security reasons and to prevent terrorist attacks in the form of bombings.

Other advantages of forcing disposal of drinks are to reduce the cargo load of the plane (fuel efficiency) and to increase the revenue of convenience stores and coffee shops at the terminal.

Well, water is allowed; you can buy it inside the terminal (after security) and most long-haul airlines will give you free bottled water during the flight.
