A kick starter moves the piston up and down a couple of times to ensure there is a pressure difference between the combustion chamber and the atmosphere as a result cycle of engine starts(suction, compression, power and exhaust).Once there is enough charge inside the chamber, it catches spark and the self-sustaining internal combustion cycle begins.
Modern bikes have a very high compression ratio, high idle speed and fuel injectors and pump. This means that the engine needs to be rotated at a very high speed before it comes to life.
A kick start is simply not capable of providing that energy to an engine. It is also very hard to push start most modern bikes for the same reason.
Also in case of fuel injected motorbikes, both FI system and electric starters rely on one common thing – enough charge in your battery. If there isn't enough charge to prime the pump, there is no fuel going into the chamber, no matter how hard or for how long you kick it. The kickstarter's manual advantage over electric charge just becomes redundant.

Still this not clear which one is better auto aur manual starter ( self aur kick) ??
ReplyDeleteHere the post says that we need to kick such hard that our power is not sufficient so kick is removed because it's useless. But only issue with power start is we need to properly maintain battery else it gives hand once after battery ages.
